Warranty Policy
How coverage is stated, what it requires of you, and how to make a claim.
Last updated 13 August 2026
Coverage is stated on your quote
Coverage varies by the specific unit supplied — its type, condition and source — so the applicable terms are stated in writing on your quote and on your invoice rather than advertised as a single blanket figure on this site.
Read those terms before purchase. If a requirement does not suit your circumstances, say so at the quoting stage rather than after installation.
What to establish before you buy
Two questions determine what coverage is worth, and both should be answered in writing.
- Whether coverage extends to labour or to the part only
- Which components are included — long block, turbochargers, injectors, sensors and accessories may be treated separately
- Whether professional installation by a licensed facility is required, with documentation
- What servicing is required during the coverage period, and at what intervals
Conditions that maintain coverage
Where the stated terms impose requirements, meeting and documenting them is what preserves a claim. The most common requirements are professional installation with an invoice, adherence to any break-in procedure, oil and filter changes at stated intervals, and servicing the cooling system at installation.
What commonly voids coverage
Overheating is the most frequent cause of a denied claim and is usually preventable — installing a replacement behind a marginal radiator, a failing water pump or a blocked cooler sets it up to fail.
- Overheating
- Installation into a vehicle with an unresolved underlying fault
- Incorrect fluids or lubricants
- Missing documentation for required servicing
- Modification, competition or racing use
Making a claim
Contact us with your reference number, the engine or unit identifying numbers, your installation invoice and your service records. Do not begin disassembly or further work before contacting us, as doing so can prejudice a claim.
We will explain what the applicable terms require and what happens next.
