Parts sourcing, done properly
Viom Motors sources replacement engines, transmissions and powertrain parts for three kinds of buyer who are usually treated as one: someone whose car needs an engine, a fleet replacing a Class 8 diesel, and a boat owner facing a repower. Those are different purchases with different identification processes, different freight requirements and different ways to get it wrong.
Most of the difficulty in this market is not finding a part. It is establishing which part you actually need. A single model year frequently offered several engines; a heavy-duty diesel is defined by its serial number and rating rather than its displacement; a marine engine is only half the answer without its drive. Work that out first and the rest is logistics. Skip it and you have an expensive object that doesn't fit.
So that is what this business does: identify the correct unit against your vehicle's own numbers, source it through a national supplier network, and quote it in writing with the freight included.
How we work
Four things we do differently
None of these are remarkable. They are simply what a competent parts purchase looks like, and they are worth stating because a lot of this market doesn't do them.
Identification before price
We ask for the VIN, the engine serial number or the drive serial number before quoting, because a price against the wrong variant is worth nothing. On a truck that offered four engines in one model year, that single character in the VIN is the whole job.
Written quotes, itemised
Part, condition, what's included, coverage and freight to your address — in writing. Two quotes are only comparable when both state their scope, and 'engine' means very different things to different suppliers.
We say what we don't know
Where a donor unit's history is undocumented, we tell you that rather than describing it as 'tested'. An honest gap is information you can price; a confident guess is a problem you discover after installation.
Three processes, not one
Automotive works from the VIN, commercial diesel from the engine serial and rating, marine from the engine and drive serials together. Running them as one generic funnel is how the wrong part gets sourced.

What you won't find here
There are no customer ratings on this site, no review counts and no inventory figures. Not because they wouldn't help conversion — they would — but because we have not established them, and a number invented for a landing page is a claim you can be held to.
For the same reason, you won't find a warranty period, a return window or a delivery time advertised as a headline. Those terms depend on the specific unit and where it ships from, so they are stated on your written quote instead. The relevant pages explain how each works and what to ask about — see the warranty policy, the shipping policy and the returns policy.
You also won't find countdown timers, stock-scarcity warnings or claims of manufacturer authorisation. If a specialist tells you a used engine is not the sensible purchase for your vehicle — which happens, particularly on older cars where the installed cost approaches the vehicle's value — that is the answer you should expect to get.
